reader, anonymous, writes (6 January 2007): I am going throught the same problem. Im taking birth control for about 5 months or more and its 99.7% effective. I doubt your pregnant. My first time was about a week ago and I am freaking out. But just to make sure buy a home pregnancy test to be on the safe side.

reader, anonymous, writes (10 November 2006): The only way to know for sure is to purchase an early egnancy test at your local pharmacy and follow the directions, if you get a negative repeat the test in a couple of weeks...or go see about a test at your doctor's office....The pill is 99% effective if taken regularly, but some antibiotics will completely reduce the effectivess of the pill, and while taking these you should always use another form of birth control.
