He has recently suggested I send him photos of me because he misses seeing me, and I want to keep him happy but I just don't feel right taking pictures of myself in my underwear in the mirror, I just don't think they look good an it seems impossible to get he angle right. Any suggestions?

I'm a bit of a photographer, and I can tell you that you're never going to get great glamour shots like that if you're using a point and shoot in the mirror. Your biggest issue is likely not angle but lighting -- a flash that's on the camera tends to nuke the subject from head-on, flatten and fatten you, and show off all of your blemishes, lumps, rolls, folds, imperfections, etc. You need a nice, soft, big light source (like an open window on a cloudy day). You also need to turn your shoulders so they're not square to the camera. As for posing, the general rule is if it bends, bend it. You can find more tips online. Good luck!

Can you not just send pics of yourself posing in nice outfits?
This will boost your confidence, and remind your boyfriend of how you look when you're not with him, without being too over the top - for now.
Plus you won't have the worry of any dodgy pictures showing up on the internet should things go wrong further down the line!
Just practice your poses before you click that camera...try it, I did :)

I suggest you don't take pictures of yourself. This relationship maybe going really well right now, but you cannot predict the future. Once you start sending pictures then you lose control over what happens to that material. Even if your boyfriend is a nice person, such pictures could accidentally remain on his computer for years to come. They could be seen by anyone - computer repair technicians, friends of his, new owner of computer etc. Even if you erase a hard drive, the data can be retrieved by people with suitable IT knowledge. It may seem like a fun thing to do now. However, you may regret it in the future. You probably wouldn't want your family and friends to view such pics, or your boss.
