She replied ' i can't believe i'm single again, I can't believe i have to start over again, nothing ever works for me'No mention of me!! I was expecting her to say how sad she was that we had broken up, how she would miss me etc but not a mention about me,us, or that our relationship was now over. On the otherhand I was sad because i had lost her but it seems she wasn't crying over us\me afterall?Am i imagining things? Is what she said normal or uncaring? I'm so thrown by these wordsany ideas anyone? thanks Reply to this Question Share |

Right off-hand, it certainly does sound as though she was just focusing on how she felt, rather than being upset over the two of you deciding to break up. It could very well be that in fact there is at least some regret and sadness but somehow she wasn't ready to acknowledge those feelings at the time.
MAYBE she will get in touch and let you know that she's sorry things didn't work out, who knows? It's understandable her attitude would completely throw and upset you.
Perhaps you should leave things alone at this point and see if she has anything further to say to you after a little time has gone by........
