A female United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

I was wondering what his friends reactions meant. this was before things got awkward. Or while. haha.

When we were flirting:

-his friends would notice me but never speak to me.

-they would get really silent when we would talk to one another and just not interfere

-they paid attention to what i would say but never really spoke to me

When things were awkward (he freaked out and said he didn't want regrets as a quote and blocked off all contact). after that, i ignored him after sending him a msg saying he was rude and immature though i did like him. he tried to approach me but when I get offended, I avoid ppl. we just saw each other a week before grad at a eat-out. at first, i leave passing him and his friend. both him and his friend look at me. i smirk and roll my eyes and he tries to show he isn't interested through that hand gesture, but lol, he faces me more instead. then, i come back bc i doubt i'll see him again. his friend and him get quite and his friend kind of moves to the left. i say bye and he stares at me and with a delayed rxn hugs me. he then exchanges this look with his friend, which i have no idea what it means.

i go in my car. they are talking quitely now (whereas before i had come back and was debating in my car, they were talking loudly).

Was his reaction decent as a guy? Do him and his friends think I'm some silly girl?

I'm trying to accept that he's gone for good and that life goes on but I want to learn whatever I could, in every angle.

Next time I want to be more confident and befriend him and his friends, whoever the next guy is.

It sounds like he and his friends are immature. That's what all of their actions mean. Go on with your life and find someone who doesn't act like them.
