I am in college, and there are guys all around me but no one ever talks to me. I am shy when it comes to talking to someone I don't know. So like I can't just go up to someone and start talking when I don't know them. (aka making new friends..) unless THEY talk to me first. I get too nervous, I've tried everything to overcome it...I would give anything to have a boyfriend..I blame it on my appearance..(I'm not awful looking but..well I have to blame it on something I guess) Please help...Thanks.

 You need to get involved in some clubs, activities, fund raisers, volunteer work, anything that gets you working with a crowd with a common goal. You'll start chatting and making new friends who will introduce you to more friends, etc..etc... Get yourself out of that corner. Good luck honey.
