We’ve stayed in touch and have been talking more recently.I don’t see how a long term relationship could work, but we really don’t have anything else going on in our lives right now. Also, we usually have a great time when we hang out together, and it would be nice to ‘get some.’It’s just kind of weird because it’s like going from being oceans apart to being together for a week straight like we were dating again. However, we never actually “broke up” we just figured we both would have moved on after she left, but neither of us have.

So just hang out when you can and continue to be friends with benifets. It could become worse down the line if one of you finds someone new, but I think it's the best option for right now.
Hope this helps you!

Might as well 'get some' in my opinion!
