 I think such an assignment would need some research on the following topics;
Contraception; the different types such as the pill, injection, condoms, etc. Perhaps included in this would be how a couple would discuss such an issue before they actually had an intimate relationship.
Means of avoiding sexually transmitted diseases; such as using condoms, an understanding of each other's sexual history, etc.
Couples may discuss their committment values; whether they consider the relationship to be casual or serious so that both parties are aware of the future.
Couples may discuss their moral values in terms of sex to make certain that they don't conflict.
