But in the hallway, he would always say my name in a weird way and give me this intense stare [he was trying to be funny, im sure,], so I laughed back. He did that the whole year, other than that we didnt talk. In 7th grade, he stopped doing it. He was in my drama class and he went out with this girl "K" for a while. He would put his arm around during class, and it bothered me a little bit. Now in 8th grade hes in my class. One assignment in class one day was to write a paragraph asking for advice from the characters point of view from the book we were reading [the character was a shy boy around girls w/ low self esteem], and exchange notebooks so somebody could answer it. So, "A" was my partner. In it at the very end, he wrote, "maybe she'll like you too....", something like that. I know it probably silly to compare that to his feelings towards me, but I always thought he kinda liked me. He not gorgeous, or anything, but hes nice, and I wouldnt mind being his friend. The thing is I dont know how to start a conversation. I think he sees me in a different light now that we're older. What can I say? It not like we talk to each other all the time. We dont even say hi. How can I strike up a conversation with him? All answers are greatly appreciated, thanxxxP.S his locker is underneath mine [diagonally]

Miss Anonymous,
Just start by saying "Hi" or you can write him a note and put it in his locker or give it to him. Just be his friend. That will allow you to get to know him and he will get to know you also. What do you mean he sees you in a different light? Keep your focus on school.
Hope this helps. Take Care.
