A female United States age 36-40, anonymous writes:

Hi I need some advice for Valentine's day please? I started talking to this guy at the beginning of December, we've been in constant contact ever since and I recently flew to see him and it was really wonderful amazing so now we're doing the long distance relationship thing now here's the thing he's dropping hints he's going to send me something for Valentine's day so I want to send him something too and I know he likes massages (although I don't know if he's ever been to a pro) so I wanted to send him a gift certificate for a one hour massage which costs about 50-60 dollars. Now is this too much of a gift? What if what he sends me is much lower in price? Would I have possibly made him feel bad? Is it too much for two months of having known each other? Any advice?

Go with your first instinct. I think a massage voucher sounds like a great idea- he's sure to appreciate it. It doesn't matter if your gifts don't match in value, it's all about appreciating each other.
