I'll have to much partly agree with "Irish49" on this. It is unusual, I think. Although I'll concede that a vaginal yeast infection can develop as a result of oral sex, the man would have to possess a reasonably major fungal infection himself. Yeast is basely fungi. This would typically include symptoms such as a tongue coated white (called thrush) and cold sores, usually at the corner of the lips.
Whitish looking bumps may appear on the tongue, and in extreme cases, mouth and throat soreness and difficulty swallowing might be experienced.
It is serious enough to address as soon as detected, but not life threatening or anything.
Quite often, the initial cause may be recent administration of strong antibiotics for most any kind of bacterial infection, such as chest inflammation. Antibiotics can destroy beneficial bacteria that normally help moderate the body's balance, which can allow yeast fungi to abnormally proliferate. So, it is not acquired or passed via sexual transmission.
Let me know if you have the white tongue symptom for additional info, or consult your doctor if you do.

You probably have a yeast infection without any symptoms and are passing it onto her. Getting her to wash there soon afterwards every time would probably help as well.

Try having her wash up right after sex. Also, the human mouth can be very dirty. You yourself need to practice good oral hygiene. It might take a little bit of the fun out of things, but brush your teeth and your tongue (as far back as you can go) and use a germ killing mouth wash. I never let my BF go "down there" without brushing his teeth.
The nature of yeast infections is that there is too much yeast in the vagina, and not enough of another bacteria that helps keep the yeast under control. I have never heard of oral resulting in a yeast infection though.

Now, about this soreness she is experiencing...it might help to know what her age is and if she's in menopause? If she is in menopause or post menopausal...she could be having vaginal dryness, where she is not producing her own natural lubricant or very little of it..a common problem with women who are past or in menopause. So if she complaining of soreness, does she seem drier down there? There are products that you can buy to help with that.
However, we can't tell you if she's using this as an excuse to not have oral sex with you. But I have to say..it's kind of sad that 'you feel' that she may be doing this. It sounds like you both have problems communicating about your desires and things may be getting a bit mundane. So, get talking to her and if needed...romance the heck out of her! And start rebuilding what could be lost here. Good luck!
