Co-worker setting me up for failure and I getting quite distressed about it

Hoping for some help here. Often good answers and will appreciate any help offered. Last year I worked with a colleague who claimed to be 'concerned' about me and discussed my job performance to other colleagues. Some friends of mine mentioned she was doing this. Some thought she was compassionate...I guess I did not. I received a promotion/transfer and quickly took it to get away from her. I am doing fine at my new site. I also did fine at my old site but now I think she is talking to my new bosses because she is 'concerned'. Strangely I do not dislike her nor does she dislike me but no matter what I did, I could never please her and she would set me up for failure. I saw her the other day and she gave me a hug but I am hurt by how she kept and keeps stabbing me in the back. I am unionized but fear that informing the union could inflame her more. I know this kind of thing is common in many work sites. I am starting to have physical symtoms due to the stress and do not know what to do. Thank you for any help here.
