We are delighted to know that my wife is pregnant, but we have just found out that this child has a 94% chance of being brain damaged. I dont know what to think or do anymore. Help?

You've only just found out, so you are bound to be confused about your feelings right now. It might help to read up on similar situations and get in touch with other families experiencing the same.
Make sure you talk to your wife about how you feel, communicating will do you both the world of good.
Hope everything goes well for you xxx

Pray. If there is something wrong with your child, will you love them any less? I know a couple that recently they have lost their child. They had a test done last month to "predict" if the child would have down syndrome. And of course it didn't. After the test she experienced bleeding and pains. She was put on a week bed rest. A month later in the middle of the night she woke with pain. Her husband rushed her to the hospital to find the baby had fluid in her lungs. 7 Months along is not done yet. But with advanced tech. they have been able to help in early deliveries. After a c-section, she was born to have an infection. She died 36 hours later.
The point is, if you will love this child no matter what. What is the problem? If you think that there will be a chance that the child will not survive then don't suffer. Your wife may have complications and not make it. You can always adopt, or make a difference in other children lives.
The time will come when it's time to be parents. It may not be the right time. If your younger couple, drinking and smoking could be the cause. It has been the case in alot of studies. Do research....
Best wishes to you..
