If it was herpes or warts it would either have burst and be exuding pus(herpes) or be very defined if it was a wart...

I'm not in a sexual relationship so it can't be anything to do with that... it normallyhappens after a period, I have also have problems with thrush repreatedly. It is annoying (and getting very expensive!) and confusing why this keeps happening! :(

(Usually very tender, swollen and sometimes has a reddish or purplish color to it.) My best advice, keep it clean and as dry as possible, don't poke it or squeeze it, and soak it in the tub once or twice a day if it isn't too painful. You may try, although it sounds weird, to apply a hot tea bag to the area a couple of times a day too. Yes, a hot tea bag, as warm as you can handle. There is something in the tea that acts as a drawing agent and will help the cyst either come to a head or go away. If the above doesn't work in a few day to relieve the symptoms, or reduce the swelling, by all means see your physician. It doesn't sound like anything alarming to me... but to be on the safe side make an appointment if it doesn't improve.
