The next day I tried to get it out myself and was shocked to feel nothing inside me. I reached up far enough but I cant feel anything at all. Im worried it may have come out while we were doing it and he mite find it somewhere in his room. Or worse, its got stuck up me further than I realised. I know I definitely had a tampon in. I just dont know where its gone. I was so drunk I dont even remember if I took it out before, but I really dont think I did. I am so worried wot my bf will think.

I really was not sure if this was the case but I had a brown/grey unpleasant discharge and was generally feeling unwell...a little lower back pain...just generally feeling not too good. I tried myself to check for a tampon but could not feel or find anything. Last night I went to my local hospital to get checked out. I was seen straight away as there is a risk of serious infection or TSS. The doc was wonderful, very reassuring and kind...said they see it all the time...I was checked out...and sure enough a tampon was found. I was given a thorough check for signs of TSS or infection...I had my BP taken...ad some blood work done...swabs were also taken after the tampon was removed...just to double check there is no infection. I am so relieved that I found the courage to get myself checked out...I was not made to feel embarrassed...and the risk of TSS or infection is something that the docs take very seriously. So I guess my message is...if in doubt then go see your doc and get checked out...doing nothing if you suspect you may have a 'lost' tampon inside you is not an option...the risk to your health is just too high

Note this paragraph:
"It cannot get lost, but it can get stuck," Dr. Masterson explains. "Your vagina is a blind pouch. It can get wedged behind the cervix." If a tampon does become stuck, it absolutely needs to be removed."
I felieve this is what I said: "It can get wedged behind the cervix."

New cat toy, that's funny, LazyGuy! Lol!
Reminds me of my girlfreind's experience. She was having the outlaws over for dinner and her 2 year old found her maxi-pads and stuck them all over the dog!!! SURPRIZE!!!! Way to impress the relatives!

Most likely you or he pulled it out. Do they drop out? Learn something everyday.
While the vagina does stretch when aroused it also shrinks again. It really shouldn't be possible for it to get lost although it might be tricky to pull it out if the little string has gotten lost or shoved inside.
Most likely it is just somewhere in his house. If he pulled it out he eithe threw it away or the cat has a new toy , happened for real ages ago in a mixed dorm. I thought he had caught a white bloody mice :/

When you are aroused, your uterus moves out of the way. The vaginal canal goes past the cervix when the uterus moves out of the way. That is how some women can take a 9 inch penis. If the tampon was still in, it was probably pushed past the cervix and into that area. You can't feel that far, as your fingers are not long enough. It is easy to feel the cervix, but there are perhaps 3 or 4 inches past that where it could be. I would assume that you would need to see a GYN to get it removed if it is up there. I have no idea if you could feel it if it was up there. Perhaps some of the women would know.

PROB he took it out...or yu did....BUT i would ask your boyfriend just make a joke of it....
correct it can not get lost inside you but it could be out of YOUR reach and TOXIC SHOCK SYNDROM is not a MYTH...and is very dangerous ..so i would risk the red face of asking your byfriend and i would go to your dr's for a quick check....do not leave it long...
it's a women thing and a lot of us have done the same.

Having a tampon removed by surgery is an Urban Myth that has been going around since the '70's. The only way that you can have a tampons go inside your womb is by having your cervix removed from cervical cancer or have your tampon stuck behind your hymen when you are a virgin and have it surgically removed - and you aren't a virgin - so you shouldn't worry about this old myth. If you are excessively worried, just go and see a Doctor and they will set you straight. You can always tell that it's an Urban Myth, anonymous, because it's always a friend's sister or a boyfriend's cousin, the information is never from a first-hand source. You can always Google it and find out too!

I am sure your boyfriend will understand so I would not worry too much about that lovely.
I would worry more about the magic tampon that has disappeared. I would get checked out sooner rather than later encase it is up there hiding!
Good Luck

I think he will think that he slept with a real, flesh and blood woman!?! Honestly, Hun, I'm sure that he knows the facts of life if you two are sleeping together! And if he slept with you when you are on your cycle, I don't think that he's the squeamish type! It hasn't disappeared inside of you. You have already searched for it yourself, right? The inside of your vagina is very elastic, but you can reach all the parts of it with a clean finger. Check up behind your cervix (that's the thing that feels like the end of your nose), that's where they can sometimes get stuck. You can go to an OB/GYN and have them take a look if you are worried about this. The fact is that missing tampons have fallen out or come out by other means, they don't disappear through your cervix up into your womb, 'cause that would really hurt - the opening into your womb through your cervix is too small to allow a tampon to pass through it. When a Doctor inserts an IUD (or IUCD) it really pinches and cramps for a day or so, and that's a much narrower object. Anyways, I'm sure that your new BF won't be shocked if it did wind up in his room. Chances are he felt it before you did, took it out and and threw it away himself. I hope that this put your mind at ease. If you can't stop worrying, then go and check it out with your Doctor! ;-D

Well if your bf finds it in his room I'm sure he wont be "happy" but there isnt anything he can do. Its natural and we all get them so he has to accept an accident happened. I would go to a doctors and see if they can check you out and make sure its not too far up inside. If you cant remember what you did with it then you prolly cant remember that you may have taken it out. You prolly did, you juss cant remember it. I would go to a doctors tho dear.
