writes:I'll start by saying this involves my gf of 5 1/2 years Chelsea, and my step brother Mark, who i have known and been best friends with for 16 years. My brother has always been an odd guy. Not very social, and extremely moody, though he's extremely intelligent and successful profesionally.Last night Mark confessed to Chelsea that he has been in love with her for the entire 5 years that we have been together. They stayed up for hours talking about this and its obviously thrown me into a complete loop. He apparently doesnt even consider us to be very good friends anymore now that we arent living in the same state anymore and dont talk as much.I feel betrayed, though I know its not a choice on his part. He doesnt seek companionship from anyone else because he apparently doesn't think he will find someone like Chelsea. I can't look him in the eye now, and I wonder when I can even bring myself to talk to him anymore. Talking to him about emotional subject has never come even close to helping him see things differently just because he gets very set in his ways. On the other hand I wonder if this is a sign to perhaps end it with Chelsea. I tend to question anything and everything in my life from time to time. I've kinda accepted that about myself. Its like I'm at a crossroad and have to decided between my brother, or my gf...

Hi Brandyon!
What does Chelsea think about what your stepbrother has told her? Do you know if she is interested in him as well? I think you should talk to Chelsea before you make the decision to end it with her because she might not be interested in returning the feelings towards him!
Also, try to talk to your stepbrother to find out why he would tell Chelsea how he feels about her knowing that the two of you have been in a relationship for the past five years and are going strong!
