I'm prone to coldsores, and they are really disgusting and it completely brings my confidence down. i cant kiss my boyfriend, and although he understands completely, it makes me feel horrible. i have an outbreak right now, so the skin around my mouth if cracked and dry, and i have two cold sores. its horrible. I've tried covering them up with make-up to make them less noticeable, and I've even went to the doctor to see if there is treatment. i can only put cream on them and wait for them to scab, which looks worse, then fall off! has any got any experience in how to deal with this? its really getting me down :( thanks

It lie dormant in your body until stress, or something sets it off. For some, like me, it's a simple change in weather.
The best you can do is recognise the signs of one before it appears (usually a consistent itchy tingly) and apply cream as directed (remembering to disinfect your hands afterwards at all times) and it is likely it will not even appear. And if it does, it will be small and last only a day or two before disintergrating.
Use anthing with Acilovir in it.
