What is normal?

oh, and ps
As a woman your sex drive is also significantly affected by your hormones. Each week (practically each day) of the month you will have a different physical sex-drive due to the changing hormones. And, naturally enough, you will feel most like having sex around the time you are fertile. Some women also get a surge of sex-drive just before (and for some, during) their period.
So there are hormones, emotions, experience and energy all to take into account ...

I don't think you've got an abnormally low sex-drive - I think that sex is just on the back-burner for you. I suspect that it because it isn't particularly satisfying (you said masturbating was better than being with a guy) and I don't know if you're in a long-term relationship.
I think sex-drive is wrongly presented as something you're 'born' with. How much you feel like having sex depends on two main things: how much you enjoy it, and how much energy you have.
Don't worry. But maybe if you found a guy you really liked having sex with, your desire to have it might increase ... ; )

Some people like it once and twice a day, some people can happily go months with out.
Your main problem is finding a compatible partner.
Some men are out there who do not like sex all the time, and if you can find one of these to fall in love with then you are sorted!
If not I have friends who are just not interested in having a "boyfriend" and prefer to have male friends who they can sometimes share a bed with just to be held and it means nothing.
Please don't think you are abnormal, as there is no such thing as normal. You may have a lower drive than "average" but that's only an average and nothing more.
Good Luck!! xx

It's perfectly normal if sex isn't always on your mind, that just means the in a realtionship or otherwise sex isn't that important to u. So it depends on the person ur talking to but by me nothins wrong.
