Things had been going pretty well and getting better and better and I was feeling really good.Today I ran into my old girlfriend. She's happily dating a guy and seems so happy. I don't know if I'm jealous of her for the good relationship or if I'm just deflated that she no longer thinks of me "that way". To add insult to injury, she called me by her old pet-name for me. She wants to meet for breakfast to catch up. I'm glad for her, but for my sake, I don't want to hear any more about how good things are going.I'm going to go spend some time with my girlfriend and try to forget about the encounter. Things were seeming to be going so well. How do I forget about my ex and how well she seems to be doing?

Very much forget the ex. Her wanting to cath up may indicate that she's not as happy as she seems. Focus on your relationship, and nothing else. That's your priority.
