My periods are so painful I have to miss work, I get all hot and sweaty I feel so sick, and even wretch sometimes, the pain is just so bad. Then from about cycle day 7 I start to get pains in my sides - which I'm assuming is the start of ovulation pain - this lasts about 10 days!! and I feel sick, I get either constipated or diahorreah, my breasts swell at this time too and are so sore until my next period.I can't go out for a drink as all my tops hurt my chest and I feel sick. Does anyone else get any of this? I've been to doctors, only thing they can prescribe is painkillers!!please help me xxx

I would also stomp back to your doctor and call BS on them. there is no reason a person should have to go through life like that, and pain pills aren't the answer, they will end up messing you up more. If they can't help you tell them you would like to talk to a specialist or find a new doctor. See if that gets their butt in action.

Get your thyroid tested. Mine were long and painful and I could NOT lose weight. Turns out I had a very LOW thyroid. I take synthroif now and my periods are back to normal and I lost 35 pounds and look great!I was also very tired all the time, classic thyroid symptoms~

I had a friend that had been suffering with the same problems for years, and it takes trying different pills, she has finally found one that works a treat for her and she no longer has any problems.
So go back to your doctor and tell them you are not happy with just having pain killers and you would like to try something else.
Take care,xx,

You must have gone to quacks because there is lot more than painkillers they can prescribe for you. Find another doctor and talk to him about hormone therapy. Maybe something as simple as birth control pills can help with your periods. There is no reason in this day and age that you have to suffer this way. Get going!
