Hi! I turn 21 in three months and I have never been to a gynecologist or anything. Im no virgin.I lost my virginity when I was 15 and I have had sex with 10 different guys now. Slut or not I dont really care. So anyways, I am really worried now though and Im embarassed to go to the doctor, because of my stupidity of never going before. I had 2 ovarian cysts and got something like this. It settled down but I was anaemic so make sure you take iron and vitamin C. When we women get symptoms like this it is easy to start looking back and feeling guilty about things like the number of sexual partners. It is usualy because of something else entirely.

However, if your subconscious is telling you that she is not really happy, or entirely convinced that 10 lovers by your age is really fine, listen to her and consider stopping having sex until you are in a long term relationship.

This sounds really familiar.I'm 19 now but I was like that when I was about 13. I got my period non stop for about 8 months. But I had someone to talk to that went through the same thing. My Aunty. I went to a gynecologist and ended up getting tests done and it turned out I had PCOS. Which is Polly Cystic Ovarian Syndrome. Which basically means you have cysts on your ovaries. Another symptom of it is if you don't get your period enough. You might only get it once every 4 months or so. I suggest you go to your doctor and just get things checked out. I don't want to scare you or anything but you have to be carefully that if it is PCOS that your cysts ain't majorly big. Some cysts can be really big to the point were they burst and when the do it can put your health in danger. It release's harmful chemicals into the body and you can get sick. In my case, my cysts are relatively small so I haven't got anything to worry about. I do have regular check ups though to make sure they stay like that. You will also get put on medication which heaps reduce the size of them.

Anyways, I really think you should see a doctor to be sure but to me I'm just guessing, it sounds like PCOS. Maybe look up on the net and see if you have any of the other symptoms of it and then go to your doctor and tell them that you think that you might have PCOS and that you would like to be checked for it. It could save a little time if you tell the doctor that you have suspicions that it could be that. That way you will be sent for blood tests and ultra-sounds and it will show up if it is. I hope I have been some help for you.

If you want to know anything else just send me a message and I will try help as much as I can.

First off doctors are used to dealing with this. I am 30 and had never been for a smeer test until a month ago. Apparently I should have gone every 6 months since I started my period, but I didnt.

Your bleeding is no laughing matter and it can be a number of things, all of which need to be dealt with by your doctor.

I suggest you make an appointment to see him/her today!
