when i am 18 i would like to move to America and race in some midget car races but i have no money to travel or anything.

my life is almost screwed and because i am at the age were i start noticing girls i do have a huge crush on a celebrity which is hard to get my head straight but i am still very positive about everything somehow

please can someone help me or just give me some advice about my job problem and my family problem please i would really appreciate it

A female reader, loops United Kingdom +, writes (10 June 2010):

As awful as I am going to appear I am hardly suprised your family aren't being supportive if you have left school and made no effort to persue anything to do with racing (you state you have no race experience what so ever yet most racing drivers begin from being much younger than you). I suggest you utilise your free time and if you cant get a job volunteer in something to do with the area, maybe at a kart track etc? Or put effort into learning to drive. Or if you are into cars why not a course in mechanics, since you currently still qualify for free education. You are giving your parents nothing to support at the minute as its just empty day dreaming with no effort. The most successful people on this planet have worked hard for where they are today, you need to do the same if you want to get anywhere.
