and yes he can be but i don't find that.
don't date folks based on what others think
you aren't married.... it's a relationship
if you like him and enjoy your time together then continue on....

 He tells you he loves you? But do you love him?? At the end of the day it shouldnt matter to anyone else but you, if you have feelings for him, then ignore everyone else. He might be the right man for you, just see what happens, and dont prejudge him.
