Question - (7 February 2010) 2 Answers - (Newest, 7 February 2010)
A female United States age 30-35, *inianix writes:

I asked my boyfriend if i could have a pair of his boxers, i usually used them to sleep in. My mom didn't know i had them, but she knew my boyfriend.

I'm really not close to my mom, so I never told her me and my boyfriend were boyfriend and girlfriend. When she would ask i would just say we were friends because i was scared of what she would say.

So when she found them one day while for some reason she was "cleaning out" my drawers she freaked out she asked me who;s they were and i told her they were my boyfriends.

Then she started asking all these questions like

"how far have you gone with him?"

and why do you have them i thought you were "just friends"

So now i mean i don;t know what to do!

She doesnt seem mad anymore but its going to be super unconformable when im with him or when i ask to go somewhere with him!

Or im scared they might not me to keep seeing him.

I just need some advice. :(

What should i do?

What should i do?

Perhaps this is the moment to get closer to your mum? You say you've never been close, well this might be the time to try and get close to her. I don't think she will stop you if she knows he's a worthy guy. So why don't you introduce him to her?

we-are-nowhere agony auntis he a good person ? if he is then i guess you have nothing to worry about , just introduce him to your parents again and show them that he is a good guy and that you have a healthy relation and that there is nothing to worry about , don't lie about it cause obviously it is useless
