I have been having an affair with a lady for 5 years. she is aware i am married and have children. ilove her very much but cannot leave my wife and children. this lady has now left me and will not talk to me or reply to my texts.we have had such good times over the last 5 years and love each other very much.now she has left me , i am totally heartbroken and I feel as if i am totally a zombie, miss her lots but can not leave my children. as i come from a very strict muslim background. what should i do to get over her? will i ever get over her? i am hurting right now.......

reader, anonymous, writes (21 December 2006): I have been in love with someone who is like you, can't leave his kid and loves his wife as well. It is such a toture for me. So if she is able to break it off with you. It might end the toture for both of you.
As for my situation, we both are not able to end it. He keeps on telling me that he loves me and he is not able to leave. Can that be true? Do you love your wife too?
