A female Australia age 30-35, anonymous writes:

i may have made a mistake.

After dating my first love for a year and a half, we broke up. He was off the the Services. After we split i swore i would never date anyone ever again. (a little drastic, but i was trying to focous more on my priorities) While my ex and i were dating i ran into a marine at the restraunt where i work. He gave me hus number and we have texted, flirting on and off for two years. We have written letters while he was in basic and the like. I get the vibe that he's sort of a player. Which i cannot blame him for. As, i;m soon to be a marine myself and being tied down wasnt something i wanted.

Well, i have been talking to another guy for 3 months now. and we just started dating. I dont love him, i care for him but i dont feel very strngly for him. Last night at the restraunt, my boyfriend came in. I smiled and we said hey. After he wass sat no sooner did i look up and there stood my marine in full dress blues with his arms out wide. I burst into a huge grin and my heart started racing 100mph.

We hugged and he told me that he was leaving tomorrow and had to see me. When he left i was shaky all night. My boyfriend hugged me when he left and i felt better.

here's my delima. My marine is gone. My boyfriend has been taking care of me for three months and i feel very strongly for him. But i think i love my marine. and now i dont know what to do. Any advice or help would be great. Thanks so much!

YourDestiny11 agony auntWell ur obviously liking the marine more so go for him. You should break up with ur boyfriend soon so he doesnt get totally heartbroken further down the road. This isnt fair to him.
