My life is upside down and my parents don't treat me fairly.

A male South Africa age 30-35, *icholast writes:

I'm an 18 years old male in south Africa. my problem is my parents treat me less important that my other two brothers, they don't want to accept my girlfriend and they say I'm taking drugs. I'm also repeating grade 11 and they keep saying I'm going to fail until i grow a beard...i do my own washing while my other brothers are helped with theirs. Any advise of what i should do or take this matter for any legal help? Please help my life is up side down (crying).

kryssy agony auntwell, if i were you i would confront my parents and tell them exactly how i feel. then again, my mother hasnt really talked to me in about a year. if that doesnt work, i would talk to a close friend about moving in with them, to just get away from discrimination.

bobbistewart agony aunti know how you feel, my dad used to accuse me everyday of doing drugs and totally ignored me for my younger siblings. The best thing I can say to do without hurting their feelings is get a job save enough money for your own house maybe in the US. And say your coming here to go to a good college. And really try to succeed and show them that you do have ambitions. Maybe you and your girlfriend can move together(:
