writes: Dear Cupid, I have been inlove with this guy for 5 years. He said he loved me and he said that he meant it. We have been keeping intouch through the chat (messenger), telephone and writing (for 5 years). I do not get to spend alot of time with him because he only comes home every 1 1/2 years as his job demands more of him. But he has visited my home on several occassions, met my parents/friends and I have met his family and they are pleasant people. He said that he wants me to me his girlfriend and i accepted. This summer was supposed to be for both of us to spend sum more time etc and have fun. However, today, he said that he does not want me to be his girlfriend and that we should not try to be together anymore. When I asked him the reason, he said that he did not have one. I also asked him if he had someone else (which i asked frequently) but he said he has no one as always and the background search suggest so. He then said that he " did not have the feeling for settling". what does that mean? Furthermore, he said that when he comes this summer , we will have a chat about everything and then i can decide if i want to stick around, what does that mean??? Please help, tell me what to do....
