My husband's crazy ex was texting and calling him!

Okay, so I am currently married to a great guy. But before him I had an ex who just put me through everything, cheating, lying, the most horrible stuff! Anyways, now I am married and have a wonderful daughter. Every since my husband and I got engaged his ex gf from highschool has been crazy mad. This is funny since he was dating someone different when we met. Anyways, she's been out of our lives for the past few years and then suddenly she got his number and started texting him. He didn't tell me because he didn't want me to freak out. So one night I caught him on the phone with her after we had some friends over. Apparently he was telling her off but I was still raging pissed (this being the same night i found out about the texting earlier in the week)! So he text her right in front of me and told her to leave him alone and to respect our marriage and all that. And the next day he changed his cell phone number. This was about 2 months ago, but I am still really upset. Im having dreams he's cheating on me, waking up in cold sweats. What do I do, how can I get over this? I tell myself it's no big deal, but it's not helping me!
