 The only way he'll listen is if you attach consequences for him doing these actions. When you talk to him, tell him "If you insult me like that again, I'm leaving." Then what you have to do is leave when he does it. If you don't, then you're just full of talk and he can keep ignoring you. SHOW him you're serious.
