A female United Kingdom age 51-59, anonymous writes:

I recently discovered my husband had texts to a sms sex site on his mobile. He was trying to meet up with a female till he realised it wasn't real. I am so hurt by this and he is not who I thought he was and I have went right off him so much that I want out. He now makes me sick. He had such a farce of an excuse it is a joke. What should I do?

you are so hurt right now and rightly so.

your husband needs to tell you want her wants in this marriage, you also need to tell him what you expect from him like, fidelity.

can you work through this betrayal. it may not have been real but for him, it was his reality. he was looking for some action and sadly this action did not involve you.

you deserve better and believe me there are better in this world.

good luck. i am sorry you are going through this, if you stay with hubby he needs to know that you mean business.

Hi

Yeh i agree with the post...HIS INTENTION was to cheat.

He may have even been doing this for a while........I would feel the same as you......it's so deceitful ARRANGING to cheat.

I am sure you deserve better....good luck in your future.

I disagree with Steve S. Texting, emails and other 'virtual' methods of cheating are now being cited in divorce cases - just google this whole topic. Although your husband did not actually get anywhere the intention was in place. Is this a one off? Unreasonable behaviour is a case for divorce. You can get free legal advice as to what can be included in or what constitutes 'unreasonable behaviour'. If you want out and your marriage has effectively broken down - you can get out. Get your finances in order, get all the practical information you need and make your decision.
