writes:my grandmother doesnt allow me to have a boyfriend.and i do.we've been going out for 5 months now and i love him,yes i do.but what i wanted to know is if i should wait till im like maybe 16 reaching on 17 to tell her and that she should meet him.and im 15 turning 16 in november.and hes 18 turning 19 in june.but age doenst really matter.i just want to know when do u think she'll let me have one?....shes kind of strict and you cant even talk to her.cause its like she wont listen...and i listen to her and everything but just not about this situation.

Maybe try introducing him as a friend at first? Invite him round for tea and let her get to know him. She might change her mind once she sees hes a nice guy and that hes treating you well. x

she'll be alright after a while, dont worry. :)
just tell her, and make her meet him, make sure he dresses up lyk a "bring-home-to-your-mummy-boy" though! and talk politely
