writes:The other day my girlfriend told me she can't remember when she had her last period. This understandably freaked me out. Whenever we have sex and I cum its always with a condom. I remember once before she brought this up to me, but it was a false alarm. She told me stress can have this effect on a woman's Menstruation as well. My g/f's dad died in march. He had cancer and she was worried sick about him everyday. She was late during this time too. She has a five year old daughter who stresses her out, school, and a job. Not to mention she fell super behind in school work being absent for 3 weeks while she went home to be with family for her dads funeral. She talks about her dad a lot lately. I really doubt shes pregnant. I think its just stress building up. What do you guys think?

 Unless your condom was damaged or sabotaged, she will not be pregnant.It is probably stress and worries which caused her period to be late. She can go for a self pregnancy test.

 There are a lot of things that can make a girls period late. Okay, a condom aint full proof, they say they are about 93% or something like that, so there is a slim chance.
I lost my dad in July last year to cancer. I cared for him for 9 months before he passed away and during that time and for some time after, I was stressed, upset and very emotional. My period was all over the place. At times I never had one. I wasnt sexually active at that time simply because my emotional state was in absolute chaos, so I could not have been pregnant.
Look, at the moment, the most important thing is that she sorts out her head. She will be an emotional train wreck right now, and the best thing to do is just be there. If she wants to speak about her dad, let her, ask her questions about it. My boyfriend was a God send to me when my dad passed away. Even now, just talking about him makes me sad, but my boyfriend asks questions and it makes me think of all the good times we had, and we had loads.
Maybe in a few weeks time, if she still hasn't had her menstrual cycle you get her to do a test, but as I say, her hormones and emotions will have a lot to play in how her body is working!
