They constantly jibe at me, tell me she deserves better, ignore me and just generally try to intimidate me.Fortunately my girlfriend ignores it and tells me to ignore it as well...but how can I get them to come round to me?I tried the "stand up for yourself" approach to them, but 1 man trying to stand up to 4 girls who don't like you proved intimidating!I currently have to live there full time, and while I hope it won't be for too much longer, how can I get her friends to "lighten up" in the short term? Any tips please aunts and uncles?!

not only be a good flatmate but be a good boyfriend. compliment your girlfriend every day and do everything you possibly can for her. make her feel like she is the only woman for you and make her feel special. these other women will see this and really start to like you cause they will see how much you love and respect her. every woman likes a man that respects his girlfriend.

Well why not wait till you are sat with one of them and calmly tell then that you've noticed that they don't like you ans would really like to know why.
Don't demand to know, ask nicely and tell them you want to make them see you really want to be a great guy for their friend.
If you find out why they hate you then you have a chance of changing it. You could also lay on the niceness for a while and do the washing up, clean the bathroom, be a good housemate etc etc.
Good Luck!! xx
