writes: My fiancee is overseas and mentioned she had been feeling a bit down because i am not there therefore she opted to go out with a male companion. i told her feeling the gap with someoneelse isn't the way...replacing me? is just not on the menu...she knows this is not the time for this to happen, last night she said to me, she did wrong...what attitute should i be taken facing this issue?

reader, anonymous, writes (1 August 2010): It depends what she did with him. If it was just for a meal or drink or cinema then there's nothing wrong with that but if she kissed him or slept with him then it's wrong.
I'm in a long distance relationship myself& a couple of years ago was in a similar situation. I went out with a male friend for a catch up& drink& when I casually told my BF he got funny with me thinking I'd leave him for this other guy. After a long chat we agreed that if the relationship was to work we need to trust eachother. Everything is fine now.
