I hear you man, it happens to the best of us.
See, the way I see it. You aren't with her friends, or with her FOR her friends. You are with her because you care about her, and have the courage to make your relationship something more.
But what she asks is normal. She wants you to be liked by HER friends because it will make it easier for her friends to understand the rough times you guys could go through.
I believe you should start with something small here, like... the weather for example. Or maybe even how your last class was or something. Try to bring up something you did over the summer, or maybe what you'd like to do this summer.
Hope this helps man!
Chin Up, She will love and accept you regardless
