My girlfriend still thinks of her ex 7 months later?

A female Ireland age 26-29, anonymous writes:

Hi. My girlfriend and I have been together since June (with a small break up in there) and things have been going great. But when confessed to me yesterday that she likes another girl as more than a friend and can't bring herself to delete a photo of her taken last June, the last time she saw her. She says though that she loves me 100% and that I have her heart and she'd rather be with me. I don't know if I should be worried or not. On one hand I can understand a small crush, but she still thinks about her after all these months. Should I be worried?

AuntyAlexxmo agony auntWell it depends how much she likes this other girl really, if it is just a fond memory then that is ok, if it is really strong feelings then it isnt something i would be comfortable with.

You can love someone and want to be with them but still have feelings for those in the past, my gf has my heart but doesnt mean other people dont still hold tiny parts of it from along the way.
