I mean i already shower regularly, wash everyday and even use a face wash thing. The only thing that seems to work is an exfoliating thing which made my skin dry and nasty. So yeh any help would be appreciated.

I don't have acne, but i get the odd outbreak of spots.
First you need to know the cause. Spots are just clogged pores, trapped oil in the skin clogs the pore and the spot is just the infection from the oil inflaming the pore. The best thing to use (my personal favorite) is called 'Moose Head' google it or something. Their face scrub is great and really get into pores.
However, the next thing you need to do is stop sebum (oil) from re-clogging pores. For this, you need a good moisturizer enriched with vitamins. This will stop the build up of sebum and will leave your skin fresh and silky smooth. Use this twice a day.
You will get results! Be patient with it.
Oh and make sure you use hot water when putting the scrub on and cold when washing off!!!!
Hot water opens pores so the face scrub can get deep into pores.
Cold water closes them to stop anything getting in :)
Not everything needs pills!
Also, use this method for blackhead removal. It will take a while before you see results on this front because black heads are the result of oil oxidizing in your pores, so no oil in pores, no black heads too!! Win Win :D

It sounds like you're taking care of it the best you can, but I wouldn't do anything that makes you uncomfortable or irritates your face.As for the girlfriend, as incredible as she may look - it's not a contest and even if it is, I bet she gets a zit from time to time herself. I'm sure she knew you had spots or might get them when she agreed to be your girl and it didn't stop her from wanting to be with you! So try not to worry about it!
