My gf still gets upset about her baby's real father! What do I do?

A male United States age 30-35, *ketner writes:

My girl frind Erica has a 2 year old daughter Ashlyn and I love them both Ashlyn calls me dady and I call her my daughter. Me and Erica are both 17 years old and we want to spend the rest of our lifes toghter. But she sometimes gets upset steal about Aslyns real father and what he did to her. What do I do?

In a way it is good that you are upset on her behalf on this, as it shows how deeply you care about her and don't want anyone to hurt her. I'm sure that she notices that.

All you can do really is be there for her if she wants to open up on things or just generally talk. Quite possibly something like that could have damaged her confidence so its important that you let her know that nothing like that will ever happen again.

And good for you on taking such a responsible outlook to things, and I hope everything works out for the best

comfort her in all the ways you can and tell her you love her and will never let anything like that happen to her again be there for her to wipe away the tears show her you can and remind her just how much you love her and how beautiful she is to you. good luck and good job theres no to many young guys out there that will take over another mans job as father and be supportive too
