reader, anonymous, writes (17 April 2007): As everyone before, also I know that the hymen is usualy broken before the 'first time having sex'. So that, if the hymen is broken, it doesnt mean the girl is not virgin but on the contrary, she is a viring untill her firs time.
So, you will see if the hymen is broken if she doesnt bleed and oposite ;)

99% of the time when you have sex it'll be broken afterwards. (As the previous poster said, it's frequently broken before her first sexual experience, it's pretty fragile. I lost mine riding a unicycle when I was twelve (I think) and didn't bleed at all my first time having sex.)
That 1% of the time she will have to see a doctor (it happened to my sister). The hymen will be incompletely broken, and the doctor will have to remove it. My sister didn't give me any details, so I have none to give you. But it's rare, so I wouldn't worry about it.

You'll be able to feel it if the hymen is still intact but a girl can be a virgin and have broken her hymen through sport or something so you might not feel anything.
