Now she says its not just cyctitis, but a painful itching/burning more higher up inside the vagina. She had to go to the doctor who gave her a single tablet to take.Is oral sex and this condition she has releated? As she says that she got it last time she had oral sex too.thanks

reader, anonymous, writes (21 November 2006): As cystitis is an infection in her bladder, I don't think oral sex would have caused that. But perhaps, because the bladder is close to this area of her body..perhaps oral sex is causing her great discomfort. Why don't you forgo sex until she is over this completely. Her doctor would likely know more..support her and have check with him/her. Check out these websites.

Cranberry juice is an effective treatment and has worked for many people, I've know to have bladder infections. Drinking it daily is an effective preventative measure as well. Good luck, dear and have her call the doctor about any unusual itching and painful burning in her pelvic region.
