writes:Hello every one,I have been going out with a girl for a few months. We love each other and are very passionate and she tells me I am the love of her life. We spend as much time together as possible and I believe her that she loves me. However, the only cause of argument we have is that she insists on having a large amount of male friends. They call her, text her often. She claims it's just friendship. She Hangs up on me to talk to them. When I say any thing about them she tells me I am way too orthodox. I think that these guys are only doing this because they are not in relationships themselves and are perhaps hopeful... She says, that even if they are hopeful I shouldn't worry as she has no interest in them in that way. However, being a guy and knowing how guys think I find this a little disturbing.Her EX boyfriend would try to get in touch with her, and even after me asking her not to she lied to me and was in contact with her EX once in a while. She very well knows the fact that her EX still loves her and is still waiting for her. Have told her about my feelings and she agrees that she wont be in contact with him, but after some days I see them texting / calling and exchanging emails. This has happened not once twice but 4 times.Now I find myself feeling suspicious every time she receives an sms or phone call. Last time we were chatting on gmail, she got a call from her guy friend and she lied to me its her cousin. (I checked her call logs when we met). When asked about it she was like she is scared to tell me cause I would get mad at her. I told her about my feelings she is like I don't trust her, should trust her more. I hate this feeling. what should I do?

reader, anonymous, writes (12 July 2009): im a girl and a large amount of my friends are males nothings ever happened between us and will never happen but what i find is that guys are great to be mates with hence why i have so many coz they dont bitch and are totrally honest with you and not two faced and also the ex thing one of my mates is my ex and i know hes still in love with me but im careful what i say and not to send out any signals i imagine your girlfriend is the same way you cant tell her what to do and checking her call logs a bit over possesive if you carry on like tis you'll push her away and tbh it sounds like you already are. the only thing you can do is talk and you know shes in love with you then she wouldnt do anything with antoher guy

your Girlfriend is acting very suspiciously and even if nothing is happening with these other guys why is she lieing to you and why does she need to talk to them all the time. If I was you I'd leave her now and find someone who wants to be in a relationship with me. I know that you love her and leaving would be very painfull for you but by the sound of it if you dont she will hurt you more in the long run
