A female United Kingdom age 41-50, anonymous writes:

I'm sorry if this is a bit all over the place, but I am god damn fuming right now. And could really do with some suggestions on what can be done with the situation. Well, my friend has literally, just ended up with a care order on her 3 kids. Now, she's been having to meet with social services for a while now, after the school decided to bring them into the situation when she didn't pick them up til about an hour after school, all because of own reasons, not by choice.

And all the woman who she's been with working with has done, in every single report is exaggerate on EVERYTHING. And i'm not even kidding, just like she'd been digging for dirt and reasons to take the kids any way she could. I mean I couldn't even begin the list of what this so called social worker has plain bulled about. And now today, for no apparent reason, her kids have been taken from her, on a lot of false grounds. So please, someone, what can be done to appeal this asap in the UK?

although I am not sure of the laws there.. a good solution in which my friend did was to sign over her rights to her parents or a trusted friend.. that way the social services are cut out of it completely... you want to make sure the kids are safe though..and really are in no danger. social services has a way of being moronic...

So with her signing over her rights that takes away impending charges etc.

hope this helps.
