ya know my friends do the same thing. and its weird cause im not all that fat. i even used to have an eating disorder and they knew too yet STILL they have the nerve to call me fat! but anyway, how much weight do you want to lose? and wen is your bday? i would reccomend a beggining swim class for skool. i took it to get exercising! its like forced exercise(or u fail) but not too intense. after all i already knew how to swim:D but yea dont let the "begginer" part fool you, you will DEFFINITLY feel the burn!

Well first off, I dont think anyone should be putting anyone down for being overweight, least of all telling them to loose weight or treat them with disrespect. I have suffered bouts of weight loss and many bouts of weight gain and for reasons that are beyond me. At times, I feel that if I look at food, I will put on weight. Other times I loose weight and not through reduced food intake. The bottom line is, people that have never had a weight problem, dont understand it, so tend to make out as if they do know everything about it, and then tell them that they MUST loose weight.
Well, its none of their business! If you want to loose weight, it has to be for YOU, not for anyone else! If they make fun of you, or be nasty to you, just ignore them and walk away! I have had to do this on many occassions and it really does lower your self confidence and can make you very bitter and depressed. Having been there, I can tell you this first hand.
And you know what, if they are saying that you wont get your 15th birthday party if you dont loose the weight, its not the end of the world. You are young and at the end of the day if your friends are the ones who is telling you to loose weight and lowering your self esteem, why would you want them at a birthday party to start with? You have so many birthday partys ahead of you, and you dont need the negativity of those people.
I have a neighbour who constantly tells me "you're putting on the beef", even if I have lost weight. I have recently lost almost 4kg in weight and according to her, I am heavier than before. It used to bug me, and hurt me, know I couldnt give a rats backside what she or anyone else thinks. I am loosing weight for me, and not for anyone else!
If anything, people putting you down like that will make you eat more, its called comfort eating, and I know all about that!!!!!
