I feel awkward around him as he left me for my best friend of 18 years.. no wonder I don't like being around him lolDo my friends not realise what he done to me (even tho this was two years ago he still really hurt me + I'll never forgive him) he's not with my best mate now coz she ended up cheating on him anyways - but I still don't want to hang around with him. How can I get out of this situation? My mates went out tonight to hang out with my ex... should they not be putting me first? I've known them longer than him. :(

 To me, he is not the problem. And he didn't leave you for your bestfriend - your bestfriend snatched him from right under your nose. Looks like all your friends are shady. If they are true friends, they should know what he put you thru and they should not be 100 feet near him. I'm sure he is going to hook up with one of your friends, again, and again.
Maybe new friends will do the trick.
