Hello,

i hope someone can help, my friend was mucking about on my laptop one night and made this fake profile for me on a dating site, she made my age to be 25, i didnt realise she did, then i checked it out one nite,

and this guy had sent me an email....so i replied, then throughtout the convo i realised he thought i was alot older than i was, its been 5 months now and me and the same guy are so in love, and he wants to meet me now, what would happen if i told him i am 17 not 25? hes 25, but were so alike and we love the same things and have so much in common, i know if i tell him he'll not trust me ever again, but i cant bear the thought of him not being in my life....what do i do?

thanks x

You need to tell him your real age, you need to always

be honest with someone you want to have a lasting relationship with. If you start with lies you wont remember everything u said. Tell him the truth and if

he really loves you like you say he does, it wont be an issue. But girlie im telling you, give him a fair chance to make the choice of if he wants to be with you or not with the whole truth. Also explain the whole friend made the profile type thing. Good luck sweetie!!!!!

x..BabyGirl..x agony auntTell him that it was your friend that did it and you didn't ask her to and that you stumbled upon it one night and found his message.

You didn't mean for it to happen but that it did and you're truly sorry, but you're glad you met him.

It's not that big a difference for a relationship, my teacher is married to a women 15 years younger than him and they're really happy!

I don't think he'll be angry, I think he's more likely to find it funny. It's not like you're underage so just tell him.

If you do decide to meet him, then you know what to do, make sure you tell lots of people where you're going, maybe arrange to have them in the same bar or café without his knowing so, and make sure you meet him in a busy place.

After you know he is who he says he is, you can meet him without their protection, but still tell them.

Good luck, hope it goes well, keep us updated!!!
