He always takes an interest in what I am doing, which I really like and appreciate, but he won’t respond to my questions of how he is and what he’s been doing when I ask him via text (which given we don’t see each other all that often we tend to text each other quite alot) although he is very happy to tell me via phone or face to face, whereas I will answer his questions regardless of how he has asked me. I know it sounds weird and like I am nit-picking (which I guess I am) but because texting is our main way of communicating it does get a bit frustrating when I have answered his questions and then when I ask him questions via text they go unanswered. I know it is only a small thing but I like to take an interest in how my friends are doing. Is it simply that he doesn’t like communciating these things by text or another explanation?

If you dont like his response times maybe include in the text..."could you let me know sometime..or ring me later to let me know" maybe that will get you the answer your looking for. Other than that I wouldn't be so obsessed with it...find something else to concentrate on ay!?!?
