Something kinda like that, happened to me too. It was about 3 years ago, I told my friend who I liked and she ended up telling my teacher and my teacher screamed out to everyone that I liked this guy. It was embarrassing.
Anyway...Don't worry too much about it. She was probably confused and embarrassed at the same time because a lot of people knew and didn't know what to say. But, if she really doesn't like you then try to move on and maybe find another girl? There are other girls out there and you're young so you'll find someone. Just try not to worry too much!

Your friend needs to look up the meaning of reverse psychology. Reverse psychology in this situation would be to pretend that you DON'T like her, not tell everyone you do!
But anyway, I think your friend is just making excuses for being a blabbermouth. I would hold off from telling this person big secrets in the future.
Don't worry, the good thing about being in school is that there is always some kind of drama going on - this time next week it will be old news.

Try not to worry too much. She probably only said that because she was embarrassed and was probably in front of her friends when she was approached and asked.
Also, try not to get all depressed - there's not really any need to, the worse some of the students are going to do is have a little giggle, and in time it'll be in the past and they'd have forgotten about it.
At the end of the day, everyone has a crush at some point in their lives. As for your friend, he shouldn't have done that, I had a similar experience in Junior school, I told my best friend about my crush and he straight away told her. In a few weeks or so, it was like nothing had been said.
Hope I've helped in some way or other - good luck.
