 Okay, so Morgan has a boyfriend but likes Slade. She told you, and she didn't know that Slade is YOUR crush. So you told her and she was clearly upset, but still told you she was happy for you.
Then, she tells you today that she thinks Slade will ask you out soon, and then later on she says she can't see you and Slade dating.
Sorry, it's been awhile since middle school for me, but I remember it all like it was yesterday. Okay, she's kind of mad at you. She's being really passive aggressive, because she's still into this Slade guy. The best thing to do is just try to be understanding. Take what she says with a grain of salt. This too, shall pass and somebody will get over Slade eventually. In a few days this will be forgotten news. But I wouldn't talk to much about Slade in the meantime.
