About three weeks later i started dating another girl whom i'm still currently dating, but one day my friend asked me if he could have a look on my phone i said ok thinking nothing of it but he started texting loads of girls off my phone including my ex! He text stuff like 'I still like you etc.' My ex took it the wrong way and when i tried explaining it was my friend she didn't believe me, and apparently my ex has still got the texts and i'm scared she will show my girlfriend she has also told alot of people that it was me texting her so it looks like i'm in the wrong, what should i do?

I would say that if you were asked about this by your gf or others just explain what happened. If you explain it calmly and rationally then they should believe you. However, if you start to get defensive about it they will think you are lying to cover your skin and throwing your friend under the bus. Have you talked to your friend and asked him to help clear it up? Other than that get your friend to explain it was him, or explain it yourself and don't get defensive. That is all i can think of to do about it. It's what i would do if i was in your shoes. Hope this helps.
