And she said cuz she went to the doctor and the doctor took her off because shes too old.Is there a limit as to how old u can be to be on the pill? because i thought it didnt really matter what age u are.

She's not too old. There's something wrong here - like either the doctor is incompetent (not really that likely), or your friend is lying. Are you sure she's not trying to secretly get pregnant or something?

This doesn't sound right. At least advise her to use condoms or some form of protection.

Unless your friend is postmenopausal she will still be able to get pregnant if she doesn't use protection. The longer one is on the pill, chances of getting cancer are higher? but I don't think a doctor can refuse you for this reason if pills are what you want! She should be using at least a condom so she doesn't get whatever these one night stands might have...maybe you can convince her to get a second opinion with another doctor, either he or her story is fishy.
